All vendors wish for a bright sunny auction day, but perhaps it was a little too bright, with auctioneer Peter Batrouney encouraging bidders several times to ensure they made themselves seen as the "sun was in his eyes". The auction started with an vendor bid of $1,150,000. There was some spirited competition from 2 interested parties but not enough to buy the property and it was passed in on a geniune bid of $1,235,000. It was later bought for an undisclosed sum. Overall a fun auction and Mr Batrouney did a great job keeping the bids flowing right up to the very end. Bought after for an undisclosed amount over $1,300,000.
