BOUGHT* - Undisclosed
With the clouds becoming darker, the Auction for 1 Banff Court, Balwyn, began. Auctioneer Michael Nolan's enthusiasm gave the small crowd something to smile about. The first bid was a vendor bid at $1,200,000, but at 25k rises no one wanted to bid. The silence was broken with a quiet voice confirming a bid; another bidder gave their bid and we sat on $1,300,000. The auctioneer went inside to the vendors and arrived back quickly to advise that they would be dealing with the highest bidder. The price eventually stopped at the winning bid of $1,352,000. Well done to the Noel Jones team.

"Nice quite court, with a south west facing rear. Living inside would be easy if you like the 1950's as this seems a good one for its era although I have always found the bedrooms a bit small. If this style is not your taste, you could always start again as the slope of the block lends itself to underground garaging and a two storey arrangement (although south"ish" rear) and recent sales in the area are maybe close to saying a lift is not overcapitalising. Number of steps at front could be a bit daunting for us older folk - is 50 old - I thought so yesterday while jogging. Anyway a bit hard to get excited about but I wouldn't dismiss at the right price. Which is - well land late last year was going for $1500 to $1800 per sq metre and a few bucks for the home so ......?"

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
